currently: waiting impatiently at the columbus children's hospital for my newborn neice's open heart surgery to be over....about 3-4 more hours to go. trying to be still & know that He is God and to remember Romans 8:28--

"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love Him, who have been called according to His purpose." 

 Tonight at work turned out to be really good considering I was pretty opposed to going. 

1. I had a pretty awesome conversation w/ a girl I work w/.  It was such a blessing b/c on my way to work, I was telling God how much I really didn't wanna go, but I knew He had a purpose for me in going & that this job was also an answered prayer, so I needed to be thankful.  I also wrote: 1 Thess. 5:16-19, on my wrist to remind me of what's important, which says, "Rejoice always, pray w/o ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you." So God is pretty much awesome all the time.
2. I also received a compliment from a guy at work.  Now, to keep things straight, it wasn't one of those things that he was hitting on me, or I have a crush on him or anything like that in any way...b/c none of those things are the case.  Compliments are just fun & make me happy.

So yea, all in all, work was pretty good. 

Last week was my last week of basics at school...I am now officially on the floor. Thursday night, 3 of the girls from my class & I spent many insane hours finishing our look books, which we finished at 5 AM Friday morning...Yes, I got 1 hour of sleep from about 5:30-6:30 AM.  So here are a few pictures to give you an idea of our evening:

I love how I'm turning into such a grandma....I really don't think I should be nearly 21.....should be more like 71! But seriously this is how I spent my Saturday evening:

Amanda & I watched Fools Rush In, while I taught her how to knit....After the movie, we took a little break & went to Wal-Mart so Amanda could get some bigger knitting needles, some fun yarn, & food from Subway...Once we got back, we ate our food & put in Little Women. After eating, yes of course, we kept on knitting.....After the movie was over, our night had come to a close....it was 9:25. Yea....we're pretty lame. It's a good thing we have one another.

I never realized until now how good Little Women is! It is definitely a new favorite movie!
